I'm contemplating purchase of Onkyo TX-SR606 but the latest IR DB doesn't show that model (only goes to 605). Any idea when URC will add this, OR will 605 codes mostly work? Does anyone know if 606 has discrete power codes?

Try the 605 or any other recent Onkyo. Their codes have been the same for over 6 years and I doubt they would change them now. The only thing is if the remote has new buttons you may need to learn.

The 605 codes worked perfectly for me.
Same input labels, etc.
