Are there 64bit drivers for the MX-810 and Vista. I cannot get Vista 64 bit to load a driver to recognize the MX-810.

I'm guessing there isn't a 64 bit driver for this, is there?

Any update on if we will ever see 64bit drivers for the MX-810?

64bit Vista is becoming pretty mainstream these days.

Right now, my only option to update my remote is booting up my previous PC, which still runs Windows XP 32bit. This WON'T be an option soon, as it is being passed onto a relative.

I'm not really sure how I'm gonna go about updating my remote, when that PC goes away.

I run VMware with an install of XP Pro for all these situations...check it out, pretty powerful.

Figured I'd bump this up top again, since there are still no 64bit drivers for this.

Come on URC get with the times. Get some 64bit drivers out there. Some of us don't really have an option to use anything but 64bit.

just so I am understanding this correctly... if I upgrade to Vista 64, I will not be able to program my remote?

Correct. You will have no other recourse but to find a 32bit version of Vista/XP and update it from there. Great, isn't it?

It's really aggravating me that URC, is dragging their feet on this. This is the ONLY piece of hardware that I own that does not have 64bit drivers for it. Even an OLD gaming controller I have from years ago has 64-bit drivers already.

Well what do you know... URC FINALLY released 64-bit drivers for the MX-810!!!

It's about time.

No more having to resort to using my old PC to update the remote.

Better late than never. Thanx URC.
