I have them for $10 shipped to your door. Email me. Or you can make one if you'd like. [Link: surfremotecontrol.com]

RS-232 serial will work ( I used a left over from MSC-400 job) or cut serial cable in half and terminate the stripped end with 3.5mm stereo plug. You can find these plug at local Radio Crack. Hopefully, you can identify which wire comes from which pin on serial connector.
Good luck.
Alternately, pay 8ate8 $87, the piece will be at your door by 10am tomorrow.

Do you have a pronto cable? You can cut it and splice the white to the red and the red to the white and it will work fine.
Or just follow the link above and make your own. Radio Shack should have all those parts, this way you can finish the job and get back home! :D
