Thanks a lot, Mr. Mod! I tried every combination of power and one button, but would have never guessed to try 2. You've also one-upped Sony support, who told me just a few hours ago that the feature was not supported in this model.
Any chance you have instructions for the accompanying remote (RM-AAP040) as well?

I added the procedures for the STRDN1000 receiver to my thread, and added that we haven't found a way to change the RM-AAP040 remote. I asked anyone that might find a method for changing the remote to post it in this thread, but I'm not too optimistic about this.
