Currently I have three remotes programmed for my living room system:

(Sony HT-C800DP Home Theater "In A Box", Samsung LCD TV, w/Motorola HD cable box).

I have the "older" Comcast (w/grey OK button) set up, runs all TV functions, but limited DVD functions.

I have programmed the newer "red button" model w/the above EFC codes, and this enjoys much wider functions (except FF/RW for DVD).

I also have an Atlas 1056BG01, which does even more; w/above programming it does everything except "Open/Close". If I could get this last code to enter, I could make this remote "user friendly" for the family. I would love to program a macros to switch from TV to DVD, and have it do everything including open the tray!

Thanks for your help, I'll look at the recommended remotes. Any good learning remotes you recommend?
