I have often thought about creating a fictional forum character for remote central. A fusion of the well known personalities. One of them being Mr.Mullings :). At some point.. if i get really bored or lose my job :) you might meet him.

I agree that this classic thread was just too good to lose. PLEASE, everyone who reads this, send an email to Daniel at dtonks at sun storm dot com, no spaces and proper substitutions needed. Ask him to unlock this thread and make it a real boy again. I'm sure he can do it!
For one thing, since it cannot get any more comments, no newbies will be amazed and horrified at the ideas it promotes; nor will they see that the humor and sarcasm loaded onto them for their dumb ideas are anything new.
The thread should also be in the Installers Forum, just where it started out. I mean, that thread is similar to the picture of Harry Truman with the newspaper saying DEWEY WINS. It's so wrong that it's right, and it's important for people to see it.
