I read that in the early seventies. plus numerous similar books when I was younger & obsessed with someday becoming a millionaire!
Also took all of the Dale Carnegie Course (Public Speaking, Sales Training, Management) and read all his stuff.
Recently read The Secret...
Nowadays I'm more interested in reading about figuring out how to try and be a person I like & can be proud off -- vs. chasing the big bucks... But I think that comes with age.
Napoleon Hills book was THE get rich advice book years ago...
It's all good though. What i liked about Carnegies teachings were, that he basically taught that the Golden Rules are the real deal, and you can't get ahead by being dishonest or uncool to people.
His books, "How to Stop Worrying and Start Living" & How to Win Friends and Influence People" while very simple and very psych 101 --- are still very powerful reads. I was 19 when I took the courses, and it really gave me the confidence to become a self made business guy.
Once every decade or so, when I feel like I am back-sliding, I'll crack open those books for a refreshers. jmo.
