I am trying to do the same thing and I get the following error in ProntoEdit4 when trying to add the hex code.
"Data does not define a valid iR code"

I'm trying to add discrete codes for a Pioneer Plasma into a MX-900. I found the hex codes on Pioneer's website, now I need to find a way to get them into the MX-900.
