I should point out that the only way you're going to get those "A" "B" "C" buttons with a universal is if you go with one that can have buttons custom labeled, ie. a hard buttoned remote with a customizable LCD screen, or a full graphical touchscreen model.

Personally I find Scientific Atlanta's whole A/B/C user interface poorly thought out; something that could have been done simpler with the 5-way cursor. But nothing we can do to change that... so it becomes an awkward item to integrate into a universal, just like a JVC VCR's separate Date/Start/Stop +/- keys for setting timers.
