OTAHD, I have inquired with online dealers and got good answers but having it shipped to Canada will likely be an issue (if only a $$$ issue).

However, the rep from one of the Canadian online dealers actually referred me to a local shop where I went today (Oct 28th) and saw/touched an MX-3000 for the first time!

I went to the store accompanied by the relevant authorities (!) but we are now a bit puzzled: despite all the great reviews about the MX-3000, we were not sure if we would not make the remote flip on its side if using the volume or channel hard buttons without picking it up.

What's people experience with that?
