Hi Folks, I'm new to your site, and have come here to ask for your recommendations for an inexpensive universal remote for our bedroom AV setup. I just replaced a 13 year old 35" Proton Tube TV with a Westinghous 37" 1080P LCD Monitor (LVM-37w3). The monitor is connected to a Comcast HDTC set top box (Motorola DCT 3412). I also have a Sony DVD player and a Harman Kardon Receiver (AVR125). In the Future, I am planning to add an HTPC running Windows XP media center and having remote control. I also want to replace the Sony DVD player with the Samsung DVDHD960, whic is capable of upconverting to 1080P.

I would like to find a remote that can control these devices (LCD, Cable, DVD,HTPC and Receiver), is relatively convienient to use and costs no more than $100 dollars. The Westinghouse LCD seems to need a learning remote, because I have been unable to find any codes for it.

I would greatly appreciate your recommendations. Thank You!
