Here is a list of my components.

Panasonic 65" Plasma TH-65PX600U
DVDO VP50 Scaler (will be used for all video and audio switching)
Yamaha receiver
TWO HD Directv Tivo's (I would like to control two of them, one in a different room)
Momitsu V330N DVD Player
Xbox (original Xbox with remote control adapter, running XBMC)

Possibly would like control for
Xbox 360

I want a simple and easy to use remote. We do a lot of channel surfing on the Tivo's and I have found the LDC Screen type remotes to be cumbersome and difficult to program.

Needs:
1. Macro's to power everything on, hand video/audio switching
2. Would like to be able to use a 2nd directv hd tivo in another room - (just on the other side of a wall, easy to run an IR extender there if necessary)
3. MUST BE WIFE FRIENDLY. I need to be able to show her once how to use it and for her to be able to use it.

Notes: I have always liked the simple and easy to use Tivo Peanut remote. I think hard button is better.

Harmony and Univsersal Remote Control seem like two that may work for me.

Anyone here with some difinitive ideas or suggestions?
