(There is no longer a need for the described file conversion process below if you are using the latest version of PENG. The latest software will now load a TSU7000 PCF natively.)I left out a few steps in the instructions you had quoted in that other thread JCL. The key one was the version number in both the xml file and in the comments for the .zip file. The version number when referenced as
003.000, needs to stay as is, not changed to
002.000. If changed, all the panel/button placements will be shifted to the top left corner of each page. By leaving the version number alone I found that the panel/button placements once loaded into PENG v2.0.6.0 are kept in tact. I also had no issues with transparencies. That is another thing, I am using PENG v2.0.6.0 to load the .pcf file. That may have something to do with it. I don't remember if the older editors had the same support for transparencies or not.
The strict instructions I followed are below. These are the only edits which I made. All this should be done while the file is still zipped within WinRAR/WinZip.
Make these changes to the ConfigEdit.xml file:
TSU7000:
!--written by ProntoProEdit NG--TSU3000:
!--written by ProntoEdit NG--TSU7000:
[ProductID]TSU7000[/ProductID]TSU3000:
[ProductID]TSU3000[/ProductID]The brackets in the edit above are really these,
< >. With HTML code enabled for posting I could not show it as such as you will see it in the xml file.
Change the comments of the file in WinRAR/WinZip:
TSU7000:
Type: 007TSU3000:
Type: 003Lastly, make sure you are using PENG v2.0.6.0 to load the .pcf file.
Thanks for posting that quote in the other thread by the way JCL. This worked like a champ. Even better, there was zero clean up work to do.
