Hi, Connie. yes it is me. I solve the toggling power switches, ideally by not buying things that have them. None of my components have toggling power switches at this time except for a HD cable box, which I just leave on all of the time. In today's modern A/V components, especially those with no moving parts, the difference in power consumption between standby and powered is almost zero. I turn on the master toggle normally in the rear, and then based upon the presence or absence of discrete on/off leave the unit in operational mode all of the time.
