Using Telewest 1.5mb broadband, via Netgear wireless router.

I've got over the oohing and aahing, and I've already seen some of the frustrations:-

1. Pages are very slow to load in the browser
2. No multimedia browser plugins
3. Lots of websites don't work properly, drop-downs, links, etc.

However, the device and display are absolutely gorgeous. I can see my Bank Holiday weekend taken up designing my CCF now, can't wait to really come up with something special.

Here's a question for any advanced users:-

Is there a way of getting into a shell prompt, so I can, for example, wake my PC up via wake-on-LAN by pinging it?

P.S. In case it's useful, I'm sure I read here a couple of times that all you need to source in the UK was a figure-8 power lead, similar to those on laptops and VCR/DVD's, etc.

It's actually a proper PC power supply lead, (or kettle lead)that just plugs into the auto-sensing power-supply of the iPronto. I had one lying around, but they are freeely available in PCWorld and Maplins.
