It is PC based software that can be instructed to handle ANY commands received ANY way you want. All you need in order to control it via iPronto is an IR Receiver/Transceiver (like USB-UIRT). You could also control it from WIFI I believe. Basically, you tell it what action to perform when a particular code is received. It can transmit signals, open programs, whatever.
