I, too, have the "crash while sleeping" problem. I have 1.8.2 installed.

It doesn't happen every time -- sometimes a week or more will elapse without this occurring, but one of the reasons I'm posting is that it started happening again regularly a few nights ago.

I plug it in every night (darn EPG, which I now never use).

I was glad to read that Philips can reproduce this in their labs, so I'll just wait and hope a new firmware release cures this really annoying problem.

Resetting it, so far, has always "worked" to get past the freeze.
