Good thought. we ought to try and start brekaing down the problem into crash type. Clearly a hard crash where a reset is required is one type.

I have the violent shaking crash where simple tapping of the screen or touching of the side button does nothing, but tilting rapidly (front to back along a horizontal axis) restores the screen.

Another case is what I call "the woodpecker syndrome" tap tap tap tap tap .... , where just tapping the screen a lot seems to wake it up.

Maybe it will help philips fix it (I was going to say if they even want to, but then I don't want to be bashing philips! oops, I guess I just did (:-))
