I have the same problem as you do. I purchased the Pronto Neo because I lost my original remote. I thought if I purchased a universal remote from the same company as my amp was from (A Philips DFR 1600 Surround DVD Player) I would be safe. I could not get the remote to work. I called Philips and they said they recognized the unit as their product but they had no information on the DFR 1600. They said I would be better off throwing my dvd player away. Philips Tech support is not very helpful. Does anyone know where I can get a ncf file for controling a Philips DFR 1600 DVD surround device?
