Had the phone a couple of days now. It is awesome.

The Palm address book and cell phone work together seamlessly. If you're in the palm and want to call from the address book, one touch.

From the phone you can one-touch access the address book w/out opening the flip. You use the keypad to advance to the name you want, select the number (home, work, cell, etc) and press send.

No one has guessed I was using a built-in speaker phone.

Tonight I set up my web access. Sprint has their free site, or you can use any dial-up service. I was surfing away pretty fast. It formats the screens in an easy to read format. This is all wireless.

I also set up my email. I can download my POP email and compose and send email. I set it up to leave it on the server so I can still have easy access to the mail later. Again all wireless.

Supposedly, I can fax from the phone, but I have not looked into that yet.

Oh, did I mention voice dial and voice answer in hands free mode.

It Also supports Palm's WAP like the Palm VII used, as well as Sprints Wireless Web service.

I also loaded Documents to Go, and it works great. Any Palm software is compatible; however, the OS is proprietary and NOT upgradeable to new Palm OS versions from Palm. This is necessary to insure reliable integration between the Palm OS and the Phone software. Kyocera and Palm have promised timely upgrades specifically for the device.

Some people are having trouble w/ hacks, but I see no need to use them, nor to I overclock, etc.

I have replaced a Palm IIIxe, a Samsung cell phone, laptop computer and data/modem cable with this device.

I'll do an update as I gather more experience with it.

Mason.

There is a HUGE following for this phone, and there are several message boards such as palmblvd.com,
PDAbuzz.com and qcp6035.com. Help and support should NOT be a problem.
