No, it's been noticed before. (And no, I didn't find it on my own.) But very few people will notice it. And besides, sabres don't curve, do they?

It seems more like a hidden thing thrown in there by the designer, not an actual meaningful peice of the logo. It, in my opnion, wouldn't look any different if it was removed or replaced by another curved line.
