The one that's kiling me at the moment is people saying "of" instead of "have". It normally comes up when people are abbreviating the word "have" with " 've".

Example:

Correct - "We should not have done that"
Incorrect - "We should not of done that"

Another is the incorrect phrase "Could care less"

This really gets me. People use this term to express that they do not care about something. In that sense, the correct phrase would be "Couldn't care less", meaning I could not care any less about the topic than I currently do.

Example:

Correct - "I couldn't care less about ----------"
Incorrect - "I could care less about ----------"

AAARRRGGGHHH!!!! It hurts even to type it as an example!!!

There's a lot more where that came from.

Robbie.

(Nice thread btw)

edit- Sorry, just realised the "could care less" bit has been done. Oh well.
