lol, true, but sometimes I felt that he would go with
what was an "easy" sell and that sometimes it almost contradicted
other stuff he said. Like I said, it just put a litle
doubt in my mind on if we know what he stands for. Like
I said, I am happy he won and if I was voting I would
have voted for him. I am just not convinced we have good
idea of what he is for.
agree
It APPEARS what he stands for is integrity, fairness, bringing both parties together (as much as can be expected), rebuilding our trust and standing in the world community, listening instead of reacting, and action.
Sure he'll make a few gaffes, a few mistakes, and he'll also have to make some very unpopular decisions.
Meanwhile the far right, and the GOP attack machine and right wing media will continue to attack and spin their B.S. as usual, and the mouth breathing knuckle dragging "Joe the Plumber" & Palin fans will eat it up.
The general American public got greedy, not just the sub-prime homeowners, but now we arfe going to see a HUGE crash of the mid to higher end mortgage owners, who HAD to have a 5000 sq ft. McMansion with commercial grade kitchen appliances etc.
This last couple of generations were a bunch of spoiled brats, and now it's gonna kick them in the teeth!
Did anyone see 60 minutes yesterday? About the upper end mortgage bubble that is going to burst BIG-TIME?
It's sort of similar in retrospect to the roaring twenties all over again... The largest asset bubble is bursting, and greed and the "I gotta have my sub-zeros and two BMW's mentality" is tapping a lot of U.S. consumers on the shoulder... not just the sub-prime customers.
Anyway hopefully Prez. Elect Obama has put together a decent cabinet, and can call the shots when he sees the need to do so.
