first things first, I am kinda new to this, so bare with me :)
I have looked abit in the forum, but haven't found any answers for newbies like me :)

Well, I've got the ideer of using a PDA as a remote control, because I see better extension possibilities, plus the possibilities of a PDA in general (NAV. etc)

but, what should I choose..?

how is the IR sending (length, and spreading) and receiving (learning) functions compared to dedicated remotes...???

and if anyone have something to add (good to know)
