So now it's July? This company's inability to get this product out and/or be honest with their potential customers on the true release date has pushed me to my limit.

Although this remoted appears to be the perfect solution for my needs, I no longer trust this company and have decided to move on.

Let's get a discussion started on the best alternatives to the MX-1000; specifically units that that have that nice combination of touch screen flexibility with enough hard buttons for ease of use.

The RTI Theatermaster seems to be the obvious choice, but it is too expensive. The pronto is very popular, but there are not enough hard buttons for my taste. Is there any other remotes out there that are very similar to the mythical MX-1000?
