Well, first pretty much anything will control your gear -- though I'd make sure whatever you buy is full-learning just in case.

As for the lighting. Is it controllable via any "remote" system currently? Or is it just... lighting? Also, how much do you want to spend on the remote? That's a good half of the purchase decision. :-)
