I have a Kenwood and a MX1000. It was tough learning the remote but I figured it out. Say you have three devices that are controlled with the viedo button on the Kenwood remote, Ex VCR1, VCR2, DVD. The way you have to teach the remote is know the sequence. depress the video once you get VCR1 again VCR2 again DVD again back to VCR1. So when you are teaching your learning remote, for ex DVD.Depress the Kenwood remote twice and then on the 3Rd press line it up with your learning remote. I hope this makes sense to you. Good luck!
