Damon must be mistaken, there is no reset on a 850 accessible by holding down MAIN. That is for a MX-3000. Reset for the 850 like Tom stated, remove the batteries for a few secs or follow Mike's instructions. You can create an empty config on MX-Editor by selecting File > New.
