The Orion name had to change because another company was using that name for their product, so they switched to Aeros. Now as far as the MX-850 and Aeros situation, some people like names...some people like model numbers, ultimately they're the same remote. By giving the remote a name, instead of just a model number, is supposed to have positive psychological factors with consumers, rather than just being a device with a "cold" model number and no personality/image.

I know this probably doesn't matter much to you, but I wanted to provide a little bit of info to explain the logic. :)
