So I have a question regarding Yamaha receivers and the power codes. When I had the Tivo peanut remote for the direct tv R10 it used to power my Yamaha receiver on and off. Now I have the Direct TV HR21 box with the new white and black remote and I am reading you can't get that function because the way Yamaha requires two different codes for power on and off. Was the peanut remote toggleing between two different power codes? I would love to hit power on the new remote and have it turn on my TV and Yamaha receiver as the peanut used to. At worst case I would settle to have to slide the function button on the remote to AV1 to control the receiver but it only powers it off, not on. Any ideas?
