Honestly when I go to a friends house and see they are
juggling 5 remotes I usualy talk them into buying a
good programable remote and then I go over, sit down
and program everything for them and then they are good
to go... So far I sold one friend on a Sony RAV touch
screen and another friend on a Phillips Pronto (I
tried to get him into a Pronto Pro but he just did not
want to part with that much cash.)

They both have wives and neither of thier wives would
agree that sticking 5 remotes to a piece of plastic is
a viable solution. They want an all in one solution
that really works. And there are numerous programable
remotes that fit the bill.. The Home Theater Masters,
The Pronto's the Harmony, The All4One Kameleon, Director
etc..

I don't understand why you keep reffering to buttons
that loose thier programming????? What defective
remote does this? I have never had a remote loose it's
memory. I have owned a Sima SUR-20 and now the Pronto
Pro and neither ever had this problem nor has my buds
Sony RAV remote either.
