I just use the broom stick. I stretch out my arm and push the buttons on the TV.

just got a great idea, you get the three remote version and stick the other three remotes on the other side :-)

mdover: most of us go with universal remotes for more then just to eliminate remotes (hell, some of us have more universals then OEM remotes)


but if you guys want to laugh some more

This type of hi-tech “Universal” remote controls also has problems:

1. It can be easily lost just like any other remote control

2. Takes a long time to program all your remotes into one

3. Could be pretty expensive, in particular the ones with LCDs

4. Easy to damage especially if it is dropped on the floor

5. Not simple to use when switching between different devices

6. Software imbedded into the remotes could crash any time

7. Simply cannot replace all the features of the original remotes
