This thread is not here to debate your wisdom, or lack there of. I only gave a response to your post in hopes others wouldn't follow your lead. I will prove my "point of view" by quoting your 2 posts.
First:

Alright, during your "assessment" were you able to see through their clothing? What makes you think that they could not possibly have something concealed....just like your friend did??? I can see why you felt no apprehension in confronting them. I mean really, how often do people get shot over petty desputes? Especially when dealing with criminals, two, three a year?
I hope I'm making my point. You got away with one, and I'm sure it felt great. However promoting this course of action really isn't in everyones best interest. Someone else may try this and not have such a positive outcome.
