Try learning at different distances.

Then try aiming the remote carefully and extending your arm at full length and then lean forward.

You can strap one of those laser light pens to the bottom for better aim.

For in the dark use you can put fluorescent stickers around the IR receivers to know your on target in the dark (if using a light pen of course).

If your more than 6 feet away it gets a little more complex. Pick up a rifle with a laser guide and night vision (no light pen or stickers needed in this case !!!). Then strap the remote to the end. Now you have extended range, great aim and in the dark usage. But how do reach the buttons? Fear not, H/K has the answer. Since each button can be a macro, program a 5 second delay at the start of all buttons.

Now just hit a button, take aim and the H/K will do the rest !!! When you get good you can decrease the delay.

Or you take the rifle and shoot the H/K remote and then go pick up a Pronto.
