I am assuming you first changed the device type on the Aux1 or Aux2 button to VCR. If you didn't, it will not properly recognize any VCR/DVD/LD codes. If you did change the type, and it still doesn't work, the only other option I know of is to try using the search feature.

I haven't tried making one macro call another, but my guess is that it is not supported. But hey, maybe someone else has figured out a way to make it work.
