CCP needs a base station with 1 way control of IP devices. Both CCP and TC need Bluetooth control as well. Even if it is a separate box like Z-wave.
They have WiFi remotes in CCP with the MX1400 & 4000; and they have had them in the past (5000, 6000, etc.). So you don't need a base station with IP control to do what they have already had in CCP in the past and then took it all away.
The bottom line is this = they don't want the CCP line to compete against their TC line. So they nerf the crap out of CCP. But they don't want to come down on the price of the CCP products. So it is crazy expensive for what is just basic remotes. And then they don't want DIY'ers, which would be the main market for these remotes. Again, the uppers at URC are just brain dead stupid!
What needs to happen is this = Mr. Parks needs to retire the position of CEO from URC (he has so many other ventures he's into now, he needs to step back). Next, they need to hire me as the new CEO! Within a few years, I'm sure I can turn the company around.
