You said you are using MX-980's. That's CCP. How is it you are going to control Z-Wave devices?
As far as I can remember, you can not control systems like Z-Wave, Clear Connect, ZigBee, etc. with CCP. And no IP control off the handheld remotes for CCP either.
Now if you start using URC Total Control systems, then this would be easy. They have a Shelly Plug US that is WiFi controlled and only $15.90 retail.
