The new version (with login) does NOT allow you to use the software, if there is no internet connection. So what version are you using Garcia?
Just tested this myself and my credentials fail if I don't have an internet connection.

I'm curious (as I'm sure the original poster is) if the work around discussed in the other thread, would work to subvert this.
I can see this being something I forget, get onsite and need to program a remote, have no internet connection available, and getting extremely pissed and want to destroy URC headquarters for their ignorance & stupidity.
