I updated my CCP a few hours ago and was surprised about the notification about needing a login in the future. Needless to say, I hadn't updated in quite a while, since I didn't need to do any updates to the remote. So, I managed to miss having to go thru all of the crap some of you did.

I then came here and saw this thread and read all of the pages. I went to the portal to register. It said that it didn't recognize the MX-980 remote serial number. But, the site said that it was giving me credentials anyway. Seconds later the e-mail arrived. No idea why the serial number was unknown.
