The graphics aren't hard coded, they just reside in a .vfd file where there is only one or two options. .vfd is an older than dirt format from the early 90s.
I can unpack and re-pack them to add a different default background for watch and listen, but I think that is about it.
I can hack anything URC, but each remote has rules and limits you have to follow.

[Link: blackmancustoms.com]I've attempted to unpack the vfd file for the mx780, swap backgrounds, and repack the vfd, then load the file. the backgrounds didn't change. still had the same ugly solid colors. I've done this a lot with the mx880, just didn't have success on the 780.
