Agreed, I use VMware player... It's free (personal use) and it works fine. My Pronto VM is on Windows 7 x32 and I have it backed up to a few places, JUST in case.
Never a problem connecting the pronto TSU9800, or even my 9600 when I had it.
I have it setup with all my graphics programs, every little frame I use on my Pronto...
