No. I have asked tech support about that and they would not give details on the firmware (because they likely don't know).
They seem to think everything updates with the software you can update in the menu. Will I have already confirmed this to not be the case. So tech support is useless, as they seem to be unaware of anything going on with the manufacturing & engineering of the boxes.

Unfortunately that is common with consumer products these days. Whatever foreign country these boxes are designed and produced in, there is a disconnect from the tech support reading from the help text.
