Rob50312 has corrected me. Since WIVB's hardware license was sold and will be using WNLO's signal to broadcast, they must use WNLO's current tower and parameters. Since Nexstar hasn't publicly stated what tower they
will use, this tells me that would prefer to use
their tower in Colden, but must seek FCC approval to do this.
Also, they must vacate the RF39 frequency no later than 6 months after they receive their
ransom auction money.

Was speaking to an old WKBW engineer about this and he seems to feel that they will use the transmitter on the Island. If this information changes I'll let everyone know..
