Its not worth dealing with, no fix lasts very long. You can purchase this model on ebay for under $15.00.
To open, you pry it apart below the rubber, use flat screwdriver to start, then use the edge of credit card and slide around popping the catches. There is only one screw.
It's not the $15, it's the customization I don't want to lose, I guess I can try teaching the new remote straight from this one instead of looking for the original remotes, maybe that'll work.
