We need to make decision as to whether to use Philips Dynalite system for our home and wanted to know how well it works?
We would also like to know how it compares to Lutron?
Is the wiring the same for both so if we want to change it over it won't be a problem later?
Go with Lutron. Established company, and support is available everywhere. Sure, it may not be as elaborate or expensive as Vantage or Crestron, but maintenance down the road will be much easier. Everyone knows Lutron, and support is the most important thing. You don't want to be in the position we're in now, trying to find support from a few local guys who can work with Vantage. Don't get me wrong, the system has been stable with a few hiccups along the way, but if we could do it again - I would've gone with Lutron a million times over.
