3FG...thank you, thank you, thank you! After a mind numbing amount of time in chat with Comcast I had some functions restored on my remote but could not access my recordings or on demand. They insisted my issue was resolved and ended the chat. I searched their forums for help and found no solutions. I turned to google which directed me to this thread, post 56. Within minutes of reading your post I had a fully functioning remote again! I so appreciate that your instructions were clear and simple!
