800mA quick blow fuse (I have a large packet of them)
and no blow so far! At least now I can change the fuse
without opening the dock again, and I have my Pronto back
up and running. Trying to get the Bel fuse here in the
UK was a bit tricky, and my fix just took a few minutes.

ive been reading these posts after my local repair shop wasnt interested in repairing (or even looking at) my Philips TSU6000 remote/charger.
having read here, i now know exactly what the fault is. The Fuse.
In my case its completely fried :(
I like your idea of having the fuse located externally and i would be very grateful if you could post (or email me) some pics of what fuse you used and holder (if any).
