This thread is amazing and everyone seems to have all of the answers. I've just registered because I'm hoping that someone will have the answer for my situation too! I read through the thread as best I could, but this is all very new to me and I'm smart enough to know better than to try things before I actually understand them!
So here is my situation...
I have a Cisco RNG150 box.
I have the gray xfinity remote with the red ok/select button.
I just purchase a Samsung TV and used code 10812 to program the remote to my tv (works great). EXCEPT. The exit button. No bueno.
Interestingly, my previous TV was an old Symphonic TV (that the Comcast people set up when they installed everything). The exit button never worked for that TV either, but I thought it was no big deal and could manage without it. Plus I thought maybe it had something to do with the tv being from yesteryear. But when the new TV has the same issue today, I knew it was something to investigate. And a 5 minute google search brought me here, where I'm seeing that there are answers to be found.
I saw post #97 but wasn't sure if my situation matches that one.
