Did you try the steps in my last post to identify the code used in the RC64R remote? And than try it in the rc66 remote.

The only reason the av receiver is going off with tv is HDMI CEC signal sent by the tv. The directv remote doesn't directly control the stereo via the TV ON & OFF keys, just Sat's and Tv's.
