Doesn't the Universal Light Control run off of a RF signal? I had to program the light switch to receive the signal from the MX-980. Couldn't the Roku work in such a manner?
URC lighting is built on URC's RF frequencies, of which there are two (418 MHz and 433 MHz). There was also a 2.4 GHz version of the MX880 and MRF260. As I said, URC remotes will only communicate with URC bases. This is true for ALL RF devices. You will not find another manufacturer to natively work with the RF built into the Roku. For what you are looking to do, you will need either a MRF260, or what I would recommend a MRF350.
